My Story
Lesley and I will be running in the Sporting Life 10K where all fundraising proceeds go to Campfire Circle programs. Lily will also be volunteering at this amazing event.
Campfire Circle’s in hospital and camp programs have been an integral part in Lily’s cancer journey and have significantly aided in her healing and recovery. As Lily nears the end of her cancer treatment (June 29th), we want to give back and support this amazing organization whom we value so near and dear to our hearts. In fact, Lily will ring the bell at camp, which is one of her favourite places to be, as she has been accepted into the Leadership in Training camp, another amazing opportunity and experience offered through Campfire Circle programming.
Camp brings joy and healing to kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. That’s why we’re fundraising for Campfire Circle. Through its in-hospital, community and overnight camp programs, Campfire Circle creates opportunities for kids to build friendships and social skills, develop self-confidence and resiliency, and improve their overall well-being. Help us raise funds for Campfire Circle so kids can take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis. Together, we can reach more kids and families across Ontario. For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
When you donate to Campfire Circle you build friendships and social skills, develop self-confidence and resiliency, and improve their overall well-being.
With your support, we can offer our programs at no cost to families and grow our circle of care so that every eligible child can benefit from our innovative and impactful programs.
