Register for Rise ‘n Stride and join a virtual fitness challenge starting on January 1st! Choose your activity to get your body moving, whether it’s running, walking, biking, swimming or any activity of your choice. Commit to a 4, 6 or 8-week challenge and log your daily activities striving for 40, 30 or 22 minutes of physical activity each day. All proceeds from this event support The McCourt Foundation’s mission to cure neurological diseases. Fundraising is optional, comes with a rewards program for cool swag and will support The McCourt Foundation.
With this challenge you get:
-Accountability to start the new year off strong, prioritizing your health and daily movement
-Compete for prizes when you log your activity on your page or in the Runkeeper app
-Give back – proceeds from this event support The McCourt Foundation and Neurology research, including ALS, Parkinson’s, MS and Alzheimer’s diseases

How it Works:
Sign Up: Select your challenge duration and register individually or as part of a team.
Log Your Activities: Remember to track your daily physical activities in our Rise ‘N Stride portal or via the Runkeeper App.
Climb the Leaderboard: Watch your progress and compete for top spots with your friends and teammates!

FAQ's
When does this challenge start?
This challenge officially begins on January 1st, but registration will remain open the first week of January for late registrations.
What are my registration options?
Choose from the 4, 6 or 8 week challenge and strive for 22, 30 or 40 minutes of activity each day (based on the World Health Organization’s recommendation of 150-300 minutes per week of physical activity.
Do I have to run?
No! You can run, walk, bike, swim – just about any physical activity to get your body moving.
Do I have to fundraise?
No! Fundraising is optional. Participants who choose to fundraise will be eligible for fundraising rewards swag from our friends at The Run House. Fundraising will benefit The McCourt Foundation and our mission to cure neurological diseases: mccourtfoundation.org
Can I create a team?
Yes! You can recruit a few friends a select the “create a team” or “join a team” during the registration process. Get creative and have fun with it! Custom apparel for your team will be available to order through our merch shop.
Where do I mail check donations?
Please send check donations to The McCourt Foundation, PO Box 774 Boston, MA 02127. If this is for your fundraising, please make sure your name is included so we give you credit!
