Raise money for Church Health

Church Health provides quality, affordable healthcare to uninsured working people and their families, and gives people tools to live healthier lives. Founded in 1987 by Dr. Scott Morris, an ordained United Methodist minister and board-certified family practice physician, Church Health has grown to become the largest faith-based healthcare organization of its kind in the United States.

Recognizing that health is more than prescribing pills, we also offer fitness, nutrition, and educational programming for children, teens and adults. Our Model for Healthy Living informs every service line of our organization and illustrates how the seven key dimensions of our health overlap and contribute to our overall well-being. Our Faith Community Outreach staff offers hope for a healthier life by reaching people where they worship. Church Health provides the support, consultation and education to start or strengthen health ministries in congregations. Since 1988, more than 1,200 Congregational Health Promoters have been trained to be health leaders within their congregations.

Since our inception in 1987, Church Health has served over 70,000 patients and recently moved into a new facility at Crosstown Concourse. In addition to increasing the number of exam rooms, dental chairs and office spaces we have, we are able house all of our services under one roof allowing us to serve our patients and community better. Because of our generous donors and the work of thousands of volunteers, we are able to provide resources to those people in our community who would otherwise fall through the cracks.
