My Story…
My story starts in the late 90s when my brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Following his biopsy surgery and throughout the remainder of his life, he had progressively worsening physical, cognitive, and speech problems as a result of the injury to his brain.
He passed when I was 16 and from that moment on, I dedicated my life to trying to change the lives of individuals with brain injuries and brain cancers.
I’ve worked in many areas of healthcare and supported thousands of clients impacted by head trauma, and I’ve even suffered a few concussions of my own, resulting in long term challenges with headaches, organization, and attention.
Your donation helps fund some amazing programs that help people living with brain injuries create a new normal, give them a sense of purpose, and provide them with a sense of community.
Thank you for considering donating today.
