Our mission is to raise awareness about heart conditions and heart health, with a focus on teens and young adults; and to provide a memorial scholarship in Tekau’s name to a graduating senior that is going to college. The Tekau’s Heart Memorial Foundation, Inc. is charitable 501(c)3 non-profit founded in memory of our daughter and sister, Tekau Rasayon, who passed away suddenly in 2012 while running on her high school track from a little-known heart condition, an Anomalous Coronary Artery (AC)-an abnormal heart artery. She was 17 years old.
