My Story…
Almost three years ago, I had some incredible luck.
When my dad needed a liver transplant, I learned I was a universal donor and a match for my dad. On August 15th, 2022, we did a living donor liver transplant.
My dad went from frequent naps, unable to stand up himself, to zipping around the ICU in a matter of days. And now he’s able to do 5K in an under an hour!
Each year we think back on the experience we had at Toronto General and bring our friends and family together to support the team that supported us.
