From the moment I first stepped foot in the Yorkville Jewish Centre, I felt welcome - and also that it was something very special. In the past few months I’ve learned what an incredible thing Rabbi Meir, his wife Nechama and Assistant Rabbi Dovid Horodny have built. Their energy, passion and relentless drive to build a hub of Jewish connection in Yorkville is truly inspiring. Through their efforts, they have created not just a community, but a family. The Yorkville Jewish Centre has had a tremendous impact on my life; I am running and fundraising to ensure it continues to grow, connect and inspire the Jewish community of Yorkville.
