Help Rachel raise money

In January 2022, I had the privilege of donating one of my kidneys to my dear friend, Kate. It’s hard to put into words how meaningful the experience was — knowing that I could give her the chance to live a healthier, fuller life was one of the most powerful things I’ve ever done.

I was cared for by the incredible team at the Ajmera Transplant Centre at Toronto General Hospital. From the very first appointment to my surgery and recovery, every nurse, doctor, and staff member showed such compassion, expertise, and dedication. They not only guided me through the donation process but also gave Kate the gift of excellent care as she began her new chapter.

I’m raising funds in gratitude for this amazing clinic. The work they do changes lives every single day — not just for patients, but for families and communities. Supporting them means supporting hope, healing, and second chances.
