My Story…

On August 10, 2022 I participated in a living liver donation through the UHN Amjera Transplant Centre.  The amazing staff at Toronto General Hospital transplanted a portion of my liver to my friend Brandon in a life-saving procedure.  I received exceptional care throughout the process and am pleased to be able to share my experience as an organ donor with others who are considering it.  The Yorkville Run is an opportunity for me to give back to the UHN Amjera Transplant Centre and I appreciate any support from donors to help me do so!
