My Story…
When my best friend called to tell me she had breast cancer, I was devastated. Just two weeks later, she called again — this time, to say she had signed up to do a triathlon one year after her diagnosis… and she wanted me to do it with her.
I was in awe. I was also terrified — I hated running and, frankly, I couldn’t run. But more than anything, I was inspired by her strength, her courage, and her determination. In the face of her diagnosis and months of treatment ahead, she was choosing to thrive.
How could I say no?
So here I am, training for the Ultra Triathlon Pink: a 600m swim, an 18km cycle, and a 7.5km run — just four months away. I’m doing this for her, for every woman like her, and for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
I’d be so grateful if you could support me by donating — no amount is too small. Every dollar makes a difference.
Together, we can show that strength, love, and community are more powerful than cancer.
