MY FIRST Mother’s Day run! 💜
The foothills NICU is where my daughter Layla and I spent our time together after she was born.
To watch your child fight for their life under the beeps, sounds and wires of the NICU has shaped me in ways I can't even begin to put in words. I learned that grief and joy can co exist, without the NICU team, I may have never got to spend the time I did with my little girl.
I am looking forward to celebrating my motherhood journey and donate to a foundation that will forever be apart of my story.
I not only run for myself and Layla, but for all the other moms who went through a similar experience and their sweet babies. And to honour their title as MOM.
