My Story…
This is my first 1/2 marathon. I started running in October 2024. This has been quite the whirlwind of an idea. I started running just to challenge myself to run 5km and now I am have been training to run 21.1km! Without the help of several friends I don't think I would have ever signed up for this! I'm excited to complete my first official 1/2 marathon in May!
I am now dedicating my run to my dad! My dad lost his battle to pulmonary fibrosis (lung disease) on May 1 2025. He was a 50 year volunteer firefighter for Kerwood Ontario. I am so proud of everything he accomplished in his life and can't wait to cross the finish line for him.
