My Story…
I'm walking for migraine awareness because I've lived it for 29+ years...
My journey with migraine began when I was just 7 years old. I was officially diagnosed after at CT scan on my 8th birthday. Over the years there have been countless Doctor appointments, medications, CTs/MRIs, ice packs and tears.
Thankfully, I’ve found exceptional care through the Jefferson Headache Center and I've found hope. But I also know that far too many people continue to suffer in silence, without access to effective treatment or understanding from the world around them.
That’s why I'm walking; to raise awareness, to share my story, and to support crucial research. Migraine is more than "just a headache." It's a disabling condition that affects millions, and we need better solutions, more compassion, and continued funding to change that.
Every step we take and every dollar raised, brings us closer to a future where no one has to endure this pain without hope!
