My Story…

I was diagnosed with migraines with brainstorm aura shortly after starting residency. I have episodes where I cannot talk or walk, followed by being uncoordinated and nauseated for anywhere from 20-60 minutes. It has been very difficult completing my medical training while managing my migraines, but I know that I will be a better doctor for it. I am thankful for my family, friends, and residency for the love and support they have shown me, and I am so grateful for my neurologist for giving me the tools to live out my life and dreams.
