Welcome to the Chronic Migraine Warriors team page
Team Chronic Migraine Warriors started in 2021 by Doug Kane. Doug is a patient at Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia, PA. He has New Daily Persistant Headache, intractable migraine without aura, Migraine with Unilateral Motor Symptoms (MUMS), in addition to receiving multiple blood patches to address his CSF Leak. Doug is now being treated for high CSF pressure.
Chronic Migraine Warriors is trying to improve the lives of people impacted by migraine and other headache disorders. We do this in many different ways. advocacy, raising funds for research and starting conversations about migraine & headache disorders are just some of the ways.
Chronic Migraine Warriors (CMW) is a support group that allows members to connect by sharing their stories, tips & more. This site also provides a wealth of resources to support this mission. The goal is to empower members to improve their lives & connect with others. Members of CMW are advocates for better treatment, raise funds for research, & provide a platform for honest & open conversations about migraine & its impact on their lives, family, jobs, & more. CMW has grown to over 6000 members in 13 different countries.
Every year for the Philadelphia event, our team had many people participate in person or virtually from across the world!
