Jett Foundation empowers people and families impacted by Duchenne (Duchenne) muscular dystrophy through the development of transformative programming, educational opportunities, and ongoing support for every stage of a Duchenne journey. Duchenne is a rare disease, primarily affecting boys. Children are usually diagnosed at preschool age as they fail to meet developmental outcomes. Duchenne is a progressive neuromuscular disorder that causes a loss of motor, pulmonary and cardiac function, and ultimately, premature death. There is no cure, but treatment can improve quality of life. Jett provides the backbone of direct services to families.
