The inaugural Miles for the Mission 5K will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, beginning at Leif Erickson Park and culminating in a celebratory gathering at Bent Paddle Brewing. I am raising critical funds that directly support Union Gospel Mission’s essential programs.
Set in the heart of Duluth’s coldest month, this unique event offers more than just a race. It’s an opportunity to walk in solidarity with those experiencing the harsh realities of homelessness during winter while making a meaningful impact in the local community.
Union Gospel Mission has been a cornerstone of support in the Northland since 1922, providing critical services such as hot meals, housing, children’s food programs, and access to social services. Every dollar raised through the 5K will help sustain these life-changing programs and extend hope to those who need it most.
