I love the Mission in Duluth! Their unfaltering hospitality and compassion for anyone who walks through their doors is remarkable and genuine. They welcome and provide not just excellent meals 5 days/week, but a place to rest safely, to perhaps find something warm to wear, to be seen and heard, to have one's humanity and dignity affirmed. The staff is kind and lots of fun! And their vision for providing more space and services to unsheltered persons in Duluth is excellent. Of the many worthy causes and organizations in Duluth needing financial support, The Union Gospel Mission is a top contender, in my book! I am looking forward to Miles for the Mission!
