Every Step Sends Life-Saving Flights 

In the middle of the night, one-year-old Geovanio was crying uncontrollably—his condition worsening by the minute. Doctors discovered fluid dangerously building in his brain. The only specialist able to operate was in Dili—an 8-hour drive he wouldn’t survive. 

That’s when the call came. 

As an MAF pilot, I was in the air within minutes. Just 35 minutes after touching down, we were flying again—with Geovanio and his mother onboard. 

“If we had taken an ambulance, we might have lost him,” his father said. “But MAF saved my son’s life.” 

Since joining MAF 13 months ago, I’ve flown over 120 medevac missions—each one made possible by generous people like you.
