The Run for the Young Marathon is a thrilling date to circle on your Australian running calendar. It's a cherished tradition with over a decade of success, attracting enthusiastic runners from all corners. The marathon is a fantastic family event, welcoming participants of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're joining the 2.5km kids run or tackling the full 42.2km marathon, there's a race for everyone. This friendly, inclusive marathon brings the fun back into fun run! Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Yarra Valley, the Run for the Young Marathon is organized by the Bridge Builders Youth Organisation. Every dollar raised from the event goes towards supporting Bridge Builders in their commendable work with young people. You're invited to join us - be it for a leisurely walk, a spirited run, or anything in between. Choose from the 2.5km kids run (for those 12 and under), 5km, 10km, 21.1km half marathon, or the full 42.2km marathon. The marathon course will welcome participants for 6 hours, wrapping up at 1:00pm. For more details, kindly refer to the Runners Guide.
