Support the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank through the National Interstate 8k & 1 Mile!

National Interstate Insurance, the presenting sponsor of the Akron Marathon Race Series 8k & 1 Mile, has proudly selected the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank as the event's beneficiary. Participants can join the fight against hunger by fundraising to support the Foodbank or making a one-time donation to help feed neighbors in need right here in the Akron community.

Since its founding in 1982 by a group of committed community leaders, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank has provided emergency food assistance. Today, the Foodbank serves eight Northeast Ohio counties—Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, and Wayne—distributing food and essential items to a network of hunger-relief partners.

Every dollar donated provides enough food for three meals, making a tangible difference in the lives of families facing food insecurity. Join us in supporting this vital cause and make a meaningful impact in our community.
