Please consider donating to ensure the future of the Westfield River Wildwater Races
The Westfield River Wildwater Races are a sub-committee of the Westfield River Watershed Association.
We need you! As we head into our 70th year, donations from individuals will help make the country’s oldest whitewater races happen this year and into the future. We are working together to build a sustainable organization that will ensure the race continues to thrive as a community and sporting event.
The costs to operate the races with the appropriate operational and safety personnel have increased and participant registration fees are just one piece of the financial support of the races. Due to the generous cash and gifts in kind donations by participants, supporters and sponsors, the races will continue to mark the welcoming of spring to the Hilltowns for years to come.
Please consider a donation or a gift in kind to ensure this historic event continues well into the future! Our goal for 2025 is $20,000. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- to promote the restoration and conservation of the natural resources of the watershed
- to promote knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the river and its watershed
- to promote opportunities for responsible recreation on and around the river.
