What is My Story? My story started 6 years ago when I was anxious, depressed, and daily having ideations about how I didn't want to be alive for myself and that my only purpose was to live and do for others. After 9 months of struggling mentally, emotionally and physically on short term disability from my job as an RN in the hospital setting, I stepped out of nursing with no intention of going back without knowing how to manage my own mental health and having the confidence to be a nurse again. I worked hard for years on getting my nursing degree and after 1 year in the field, I had my mind believed that I had no idea what I was doing as a nurse and my confidence to feel "like a real nurse" had diminished. After an IOP and many therapy sessions, I now know that I'M WORTHY and living for myself is my top priority!
