My Story…
Owen was diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis when he was 19 months old. What started as unexplained fevers and rashes quickly became swollen joints, daily injections, and a whirlwind of hospital visits. SJIA isn’t just arthritis - it’s a rare, unpredictable disease that affects the entire body, and for months, we watched helplessly as it stole his energy, his comfort, and his carefree toddler days.
Thanks to life-changing treatments, Owen is finally finding relief, but so many children and babies are still fighting. We’re running this marathon for better treatments, research, and, one day, a cure. Thank you for your support ❤️
