My Story…
Walking on honor of Clint. I hope to do this every year in his memory. Clint was diagnosed with Stage 1B Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma in July of 2023. He underwent 7 rounds of Chemotherapy, Whipple Surgery and 28 rounds of radiation and additional chemo, only to find that this beast spread to stage 4. He still wanted to fight and went through countless more rounds of chemo until he just couldn't handle it anymore. On November 15th, Clint decided to go on Hospice and gained his Angel Wings on December 5th, 2024.
Clint was such an amazing man and had so much love for his family and friends. I will always be greatful for the 29 years we had together and will always wish we could have had more. He will be forever missed and remembered by so many.
Project Purple is an amazing organization that provides financial support to so many families fighting this brutal disease. During Clints illness, they sent us premade meals for the whole family each week for several weeks until we canceled it because Clint wasn't able to eat much. It was a blessing for our family as well as so many others. They also support research on ways to fight and detect this disease so, hopefully, it can help others faced with Pancreatic Cancer.
