Our story…

This year is starting off with a bang as I was selected to be a 2025 Project Purple Ambassador! As an Ambassador, my goal is to bring Project Purple to my local community and inner circle by recruiting friends and family for races throughout the year. As well as hosting other fundraising and awareness events! The first virtual race is the Purple Paddy's Virtual 5k and I have created a team for us!

This will be Project Purple’s first of a 3-part virtual series for 2025: 
Purple Paddy’s 5k | St. Patrick’s Day Weekend (March 14-17) 
Independence Day Double Mile For Detection | 4th of July Weekend (July 4-7) 
Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month Turkey Trot | (Thanksgiving Weekend Nov. 27 – Dec. 1) 

By making your miles matter, you are supporting Project Purple in 2 ways. First, you are bringing patients hope by supporting patient financial aid program and sending care packages to those battling. Secondly, you are directly impacting and advancing research for early detection and a cure.
