Help Marina raise money

Participating in sports gives girls a foundation for success for the rest of their lives. They get married later, have better physical health indicators, are more self confident, and attain higher levels of education than girls who do not. It's why I started Ascend - to provide pathways for girls in places where they don't have access to sports. A casual hike for me is an impossible dream for some who are born into places less free, less open, less prosperous. This year's Hike for Her is an opportunity to get outdoors with our Ascend community and raise money to create life changing opportunities for girls in Afghanistan and Pakistan. A beautiful Saturday spent in one of Virginia's finest state parks - all done in support of our sisters across the world! Join us or donate to support us. I'll be hiking all 23 miles this year.
