Support. Inspire. Empower.
Hello and welcome to my fundraising page! This August I will be running the Falmouth Road Race for team Herren Project. I am running in memory of my uncle Norm who passed away in 2024.
I am also running to bring awareness to the disorder. Addiction does not discriminate and many struggle privately due to the stigma surrounding the disorder.
Alcohol use disorder snuffed out my uncle’s light far too soon. Through continued fundraising and conversations we can help others achieve and maintain sobriety.
Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder.
Services include treatment placement assistance, long-term recovery support for individuals and families, online support groups, prevention and wellness initiatives, as well as scholarships for treatment programs, recovery housing and recovery coaching.
Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008. Together we recover...as we support, inspire & empower those affected by substance use disorder. www.herrenproject.org
