My Story…
I'm thrilled to be running the 2025 Falmouth Road Race in support of The Genesis Foundation for Children!
Families affected by a rare disease or genetic disorder diagnosis often feel lost or frustrated, while also facing financial challenges that prevent their child from receiving the diagnosis, treatment, and coordinated care they need and deserve. Together with Mass General for Children and other specialized, targeted providers, The Genesis Foundation for Children helps thousands of families yearly obtain answers, a path forward, and a little peace of mind.
I've served as Membership Chair to the foundation's Young Professionals Committee for the past 3 years. Our committee serves as a social fundraising entity for the organization, ultimately being responsible for raising awareness and funds for the organization as active ambassadors through semi-annual fundraising events, peer-to-peer campaigns, and social and corporate networking.
I entered my line of work as a Financial Planner to make a difference in the lives of my clients by helping them to establish roadmaps toward financial freedom. Along the way, I've heard dozens of stories about medical issues being the major obstacle toward allowing a family to reach their most sacred financial goals. The symmetry between my personal mission and the mission of The Genesis Foundation is simple: help provide peace of mind to families that need a helping hand.
I'm extremely grateful to anyone that is willing/able to donate to help me reach my fundraising goal of $1,000. I look forward to traveling down to Falmouth this August to tackle my first race and represent this amazing cause!
