Some people walk into your life and leave a lasting impression. For me, that person is Russell.

The first time Russell walked into my restaurant, I was hooked. His energy, his laughter, the way he lights up a room—it’s impossible not to love him. Russell isn’t just any kid; he’s extraordinary. He faces challenges most of us can’t imagine. He lives with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects his lungs and digestive system. But if you met him, you’d never know the battle he fights every single day.

With my 2025 goal to run the Falmouth Road Race, you can imagine how quick I was to jump at the opportunity to run for Russell. Every step I take is for him and for kids like him who fight this disease with courage and determination.

This isn’t just a race. It’s a movement. It’s about supporting Russell, raising awareness, and funding research that could change lives. Every donation helps provide critical resources, medical advancements, and hope for a future where cystic fibrosis no longer limits incredible kids like Russell.
