Our Story…

TEAM MIKE (Led by Cheryl Cunningham, along with Lauren Tourgee, Pam Roe, Kim Dadasis, Beth McCabe, Jill Dolan, Rich Nussbaum, Natalie Nussbaum, Sean Russell, Amy Burns, Holly Johnson, Kevin Johnson, and Deirdre Parlon) is excited to participate in the Falmouth Road Race, in support of ALS ONE. We are honored to carry forward the legacy, raise awareness, and funds for ALS ONE in memory of Mike Cunningham—our inspiration. 💕 Mike fought bravely against ALS, and while he is no longer with us, his strength, kindness, and resilience continue to inspire everyone who knew him.

Mike was a fighter, a friend, and a family member whose impact continues to be felt every day. We miss him deeply, but we know that his memory lives on through the work we’re doing to raise funds and awareness for ALS. This cause was incredibly important to him, and we are committed to honoring his memory in the most meaningful way possible.

Our Goal:

We are setting out to raise $30,000 in Mike’s memory. The money you donate will go to ALS One an organization dedicated to both finding treatments for ALS and improving the quality of life for those battling the disease today. ALS ONE brings together world-leading researchers, doctors, and care practitioners from The Healey Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS), ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), and Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS). Their collaboration is unparalleled in its efficiency, commitment to innovation, and dedication to expanding access to care, equipment, and treatment.
