My Story....
Hello!
I'm excited to share that I'll be running the 2025 Falmouth Road Race in support of the FSHD Society and their ongoing efforts to find a cure for Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD). This cause is incredibly close to my heart, as my sister, mother, uncle, and late grandfather all live with this rare genetic muscle disease. FSHD affects the muscles of the face, upper body, and lower body, making everyday tasks like lifting, standing up, smiling, and walking challenging.
I'm running for those who can't. I'm running for hope, for a cure, and for my loved ones. Running has always been a special part of my life, and I never take for granted the ease with which I can move my body. Thanks to the incredible efforts in raising awareness for FSHD, we are closer than ever to finding a cure.
Please consider donating—every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a cure for FSHD. Thank you for your support and generosity!
Love,
Calli
