My Story…

Thank you for visiting my page and supporting my efforts to raise awareness for the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA) in honor of Ryan Farrell and the Farrell family.

Ryan Farrell is a dedicated athlete and vibrant young woman whose life was forever changed by a traumatic brain injury. Her journey is one of immense strength, perseverance, and resilience, and she continues to inspire so many with her determination and spirit. In her honor, I run to support brain injury awareness, research, and advocacy, ensuring that individuals and families affected by brain injuries receive the resources and support they need.

I was fortunate to meet and connect with Ryan’s sister, Courtney Farrell, in law school, and we have been close friends and constant supporters of each other ever since. Courtney’s dedication to her sister and to brain injury awareness has been truly inspiring, and I am proud to stand with her in this mission.

The BIA-MA strives to create a better future for all those affected by brain injury. Their mission is to educate the public on the risks and impact of brain injury, promote prevention programs, advocate for stronger legislation, and provide crucial support and resources to individuals, caregivers, and families navigating life after a brain injury.

BIA-MA strives to create a better future for all those affected by brain injury. The purpose of the organization is to educate the public on the risk and impact of brain injury, to promote programs that educate and prevent those injuries, to advocate for improved legislation, and to offer support and resources to individuals with brain injuries, their caregivers, and their families.
