My Story…

I am running the Falmouth Road Race this year to support the Parkinson’s Foundation New England Chapter! My goal is to raise $1,500 :) 💖🫶✨

Parkinson’s Disease has impacted my family for as long as I can remember. My grandmother, Nancy Lou Muse, has been living with Parkinson’s for decades. Grammy, as us grandkids call her, is the strongest-willed person I know. She stays good humored, upbeat, and ready to joke around even in the midst of uncomfortable and painful symptoms. Grammy always finds a moment to pinch my hips and offer candy in return.

I love my grandmother, her generous heart, and her humor dearly, and I hope the funds raised through everyone on the Parkinson’s Foundation New England Chapter team can ensure an easier life for those like Grammy who live with Parkinson’s every day.

The Parkinson’s Foundation is dedicated to both advancing science towards a cure and helping those currently with PD gain access to necessary care. Their mission is one to which I am incredibly proud to contribute, and I hope you can help, too :)

I'm ready to run.

I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation.

The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
