OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!

As many have you know I found a love for running early in 2020. What started out as a way of a muscle workout quickly turned into a mental workout when I became Mrs. A to both my then 6th grader and my kindergartener.

Not only did running help me get out the door for that much needed alone time with a way of burning off some stress it also brought me down a road to mental healing to find some amazing people.

ALS was a disease I knew very try little about before meeting my husband in 2010. Through him I learned what his father went through before he had lost him when he was 16. Later we lost both his grandmother and uncle to this ugly disease

Fortunately I was able to find a bridge to both my love for running and the desire I had in my heart to help. I found ALS ONE and in 2020 was able to do the virtual race… awful story actually with a stress fracture I ended up riding my bike 7 miles instead. (My butt still hurts!)

ANYWAYS! ALS ONE is a wonderful organization that helps raise money for those battling Lou Gehrig’s disease for all types of care or necessities. They also use their funds to fund many studies at MGH for both meds and to hopefully one day find a cure.

Will you help us raise money to reach our goal?

ADDITIONALLY I want to raise more money than Matt 😜 so make your donation now Haha!

Running in memory of Russell, Gary and Celia Alsheimer

As well as a dear friends mom Juanita Cucurella

Were not done til ALS is done!
