Help Anne raise money

Hello friends,

I have run the Falmouth Road Race to fundraise on behalf of Independence House for a few years, and this is a special year for me. I hope you'll read my story and consider donating this year. 

Every step of my training this year will contribute to my recovery from a serious lung infection I acquired as a result of recent cancer treatments. I'm starting back at the beginning, pacing myself (literally!) as I regain my running strength and my health. Every step of my training is also dedicated to the people at Independence House who provide critical services (free and confidential) to all Cape Cod residents experiencing the trauma of domestic violence and sexual assault. It will be easier for me to recover from my health issues than it is for these individuals and families to recover from their traumas, and I am grateful that this resource exists to support the residents of my favorite place on Earth.
