My Story…
As a social worker, I’m passionate about breaking down barriers—and that’s why I’m running for a race that’s close to my heart. I’m proud to run with Stride for Stride, a non-profit running organization that buys race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC, and low-income runners. Our mission is simple but powerful: to make racing more accessible, more inclusive, and more diverse.
Money should never stand in the way of getting to the starting line—especially when crossing the finish line can transform your life.
In 2025, Stride for Stride deepened its commitment to community well-being by launching Mental Health in Stride, providing free therapy sessions, and relaunching Heart to Cart, offering food assistance to any team member in need.
Since Stride for Stride's founding in November 2018, they have grown into a vibrant team of 450 runners from 27 countries—proof that when we run together, we move forward together.
Running is therapy. Running is not only good for your physical health, but it's also good for your mental health.
