Fundraising for IBD Cures!
I’m running this road race because I want to kick off my running career, inspired by my parents who both ran the Boston Marathon and have always encouraged me to chase my goals. My mom, a GI NP at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, is also the head of the Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Walk taking place on June 7th in Cambridge. Supporting this organization felt like the perfect fit — not only because of my mom’s deep involvement, but also because I have several friends living with Crohn’s disease, and even my golden retriever, Summer, has Crohn’s. I’m excited to run with a purpose that means so much to me and my family.
