Help Jennifer raise money

Hello! My name is Jennifer Comi and I am thrilled to be running my fourth Falmouth Road Race, and this year will be in support of the Heart Warrior Foundation! "The Heart Warrior Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to supporting, educating and raising awarness for families that are affected by congenital heart defects (CHDs)". 

January 19, 2025 I became a first time "Auntie" to Caden Comi and the experience has brought immeasurable love and happiness into my life and for our family! It is one of the greatest joys of my life to be his aunt! 

Recently, we learned that Caden has a ventricular septal defect (VSD) which means that there is an "abnormal opening in the wall that separates the two lower chambers of the heart, called the ventricles". Caden will need to undergo surgery at Boston Children's Hospital this spring. 

In learning this news, I immediately wanted to support Caden and our family which lead me to find the Heart Warrior Foundation and I was touched to learn that they raised $12,000 to the Heart Center at Boston Children's Hospital. 

Running for an organization that supports families that are affected by CHDs, including my own family is very meaningful and important to me! I am grateful for the efforts and work that the Heart Warrior Foundation does and this year I will be running for Caden Comi and raising money for other families affected by CHDs. 

Any amount is appreciated and impactful, thank you for supporting a wonderful cause! 

Update: Caden underwent a successful surgery in the beginning of May and has continued to thrive ever since! Our family is forever grateful for the incredible Team at Boston Children's! The photo below is him preparing to be the ring bearer at my Wedding this past June!
