My Story…
Hi family and friends! I know this might be coming as a (HUGE) shock BUT….. I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race as a member of The Arc of the South Shore team! Although The Arc has many wonderful programs, The First Program is near and dear to my heart as I work with the birth to three population as a speech language pathologist in their early intervention program. Within The First Program, I support babies and toddlers with a wide range of abilities as they begin to develop motor and communication skills that will shape the rest of their lives. Whether it’s helping a child say their first words, using signs or augmentative and alternative ways to communicate, or connecting with loved ones through shared attention and play, early speech therapy can unlock essential skills that lead to greater confidence, connection, and success.
I chose to be apart of this special team to raise both money and awareness for the incredible impact of early intervention on both the children and their families we serve. Every child deserves the chance to thrive, and early support can make all the difference. By running, I hope to shine a light on the importance of identifying and addressing developmental needs as early as possible—and to celebrate the resilience and potential of every child and family I work with.
Thank you for supporting me in this journey and the meaningful work behind it!
