Help Emma raise money

My name is Emma Grande and I want to run the Falmouth Road Race for ALS One because this cause has become deeply personal to me. A few months ago, my childhood best friend’s mom was diagnosed with ALS, and seeing how this disease has impacted her and her family has been both heartbreaking and eye-opening. I am running for her—for the strength she shows every day, for my best friend who stands by her side, and for every family facing the unimaginable challenges of this disease. I am also running for the late Kevin Gosnell, a close family friend who passed away a few years ago from this horrific disease. My motivation comes from wanting to be part of something bigger than myself, to use my passion for running and training to make a real difference. As a college lacrosse athlete, I know the power of perseverance, discipline, and teamwork—qualities that will fuel me through every mile of this race. I am determined to push myself not just physically, but also to raise awareness and funds that will bring us closer to a cure. It is an absolute honor to be chosen and to run this race with purpose, heart, and an unshakable commitment to honoring those affected by ALS.
