Help Lana raise money

I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for MSPCA- Angell (The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals- Angell Animal Medical Center), a non-profit that receives no state or federal funding. The MSPCA’s mission is noble and impactful and includes protecting animals, relieving their suffering, advancing their health and welfare, preventing cruelty, and working for a just and compassionate society. The services they provide are vast and comprehensive and include veterinary care, animal care and adoption centers, community outreach, relocation and shelter mentorship services, advocacy, law enforcement- protecting animals from cruelty, and educating the public. 

I have been volunteering at the MSPCA since February as part of run club, where as pictured above, I run with high energy dogs that need a break from shelter life. It is an enriching opportunity for the animal and enables them to get out of the shelter for a prolonged period, (30 minute run or 3 mile run), to release energy helping them relax and  get adopted sooner! It has been an absolutely beneficial and rewarding experience for both the dogs and myself!

And of course my journey into the adoption world would not have happened without my beloved Sampson- my 80 pound black lab mix rescue dog. He is my light and has proven to me the impact of rescuing an animal and giving that animal a second chance at life. I am raising money to give that second chance to more animals in need and hope you will help me reach my goals in my first Falmouth Road Race! Any amount would be totally appreciated and thank you so much for considering helping shelter animals!
