My Story…
This year, I’m running the Falmouth Road Race for the 5th time—but this one means more than ever. In December 2023, my nephew Rory was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare and progressive muscle disorder. Since then, my sister, her family, and all of us who love Rory have been learning, adjusting, and seeking out resources and support for the road ahead.
The Jett Foundation empowers families impacted by Duchenne through transformative programs, education, and community. I am inspired by the support and services offered by this incredible organization and proud to run in support of its mission.
As someone who grew up in Falmouth, the Falmouth Road Race has always been a fun tradition, and now it’s also a chance to run with purpose. I’m proud to run for Rory, and for families impacted by Duchenne. Thank you for supporting this cause that means so much to me.
Description
Thank you for supporting me in the Falmouth Road Race, where I will be raising funds for Jett Foundation.
Jett Foundation empowers people and families impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy through the development of transformative programming, educational opportunities, and ongoing support for every stage of a Duchenne journey.
Team Jett events, such as the Falmouth Road Race, encourage families and friends to activate their muscles in support of Jett Foundation and the work we do to provide enriching programs for individuals and families impacted by neuromuscular disorders.
Help me reach my fundraising goal by race day, Sunday, August 17, 2025!
