My Story…
Joining Team Boston MedFlight is an amazing opportunity. I have been a police officer in a rural area for many years and have seen first hand the importance of people receiving quality critical care as soon as possible. In these situations each second and minute matters and Boston MedFlight is there to answer the call.
Over the years, I have worked with our partners at Boston MedFlight a number of times, on life saving transports for citizens in my community, and I was shocked to learn recently that Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization.
I always assumed they were funded by public funds and patient billing, as some ambulance companies are. However, that is not the case and the goal of Boston MedFlight is to ensure every patient receives care, regardless of their ability to pay. Boston MedFlight relies on donations and fundraising like Team BMF running the 2025 Falmouth Road Race, and each donation helps save a persons life.
We never know when we may need critical care. Whether it is for a family member,
a friend, or ourselves, emergencies can strike in the blink of an eye. And when emergency strikes it’s important to get medical care as soon as possible.
This is why I am proud to run in support of Team Boston MedFlight
Donate to help Rachael raise money for The 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
