My Story…
My MS Journey: Running to End MS
In 2009, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a disease that has brought many challenges into my life. At first, it was a daunting reality to face, but over time, I found a powerful way to stay active and strong in spite of it: running.
Running has always been a huge part of my life. It’s not just a form of exercise—it’s my outlet, my therapy, and my connection to a community that has helped me in ways I can’t fully express. Despite the obstacles MS can throw at me, running has remained a constant, something that has kept me grounded, both physically and mentally.
I’m incredibly grateful for the running community that continues to support me. Whether it’s encouragement during races, a helping hand on tough days, or the shared love of pushing our limits together, it’s been a source of strength that I couldn’t do without. And running hasn’t just been something I do for myself—it's been a way for me to give back. I've had the privilege of coaching Cross Country and Track, inspiring others to keep going, just as I’ve been inspired to keep running through MS.
That’s why I’ve decided to take part in Finish MS, a fundraiser dedicated to raising critical funds for the National MS Society. This organization has been a lifeline for so many of us with MS. The work they do—funding groundbreaking research, providing support and education, and offering hope to those living with the disease—is something we cannot take for granted. They’ve paved the way for every effective MS treatment available today, and I’m committed to helping them continue that vital work.
Multiple sclerosis is a devastating disease, and no one should have to face it alone. The National MS Society is there, helping those of us who are living with MS navigate its challenges and fighting to find a cure. That’s why I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal for this event. I know that with your help, we can get closer to that goal of ending MS for good.
I’m running full steam ahead, not just for myself, but for everyone living with MS. Your support means the world to me as I continue on this journey. Every dollar you contribute brings us one step closer to a world free of MS.
Please join me in this fight—donate today, and help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
