Help me support families staying at The Boston House!
The Falmouth Road Race has been on my radar as long as I can remember – my mom being the first one to introduce it to me before she retired her running shoes, sadly before I decided running wasn't torture. I've toyed with the idea in my head of signing up myself, but between a myriad of excuses (wedding commitments, raising money, other races, the unavoidable heat, etc., etc.) I never got around to registering.
Jump forward to this year- the stars aligned and a charity I have supported through pro-bono Salesforce work reached out with an entry. It was an immediate yes and I knew the rest would fall into place. A donation to my fundraiser goes 100% to the Boston House and to helping families and children battling cancer. If you are unable to donate and want to volunteer with me this summer, please reach out - I'll be scheduling 2 times to cook dinner for those staying at the Boston House.
About the Boston House:

The Boston House, conveniently located on Kent Street in Brookline, is within walking distance of Boston Children’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic. The House can accommodate up to 22 families each night. The Main House has nine bedrooms that will accommodate up to four people with shared bathrooms and common areas, including access to a fully equipped kitchen.
For families with a child recovering from a bone marrow transplant, we have 13 studio apartments with individual bathrooms and kitchenettes.
