My Story…
Although this will be my sixth time running the Falmouth Road Race, this year is especially meaningful — it’s my first time running as part of the Cape Cod Healthcare Team.
I’ve been a proud employee of the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod, a Cape Cod Healthcare affiliate, for nearly 10 years. This year, I’m dedicating my run to support a cause that is deeply personal to me: our VNA Hospice Division.
Hospice is so much more than medical care — it’s a compassionate approach that focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life when curative treatments are no longer an option. It’s about helping patients live their final days with peace and meaning, surrounded by the people and comforts they love most.
