Welcome to my 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!

On 8/29/22, my families world was turned upside down when my brother Nick suffered a grand mal seizure. What followed quickly turned into a nightmare for all those who know and love him dearly. They found that Nick had a tumor. After weeks of waiting, MRIs and cat scans, Nick had to undergo a craniotomy at Mass General. His amazing surgeon removed a portion of the tumor and biopsy results determined Nick to have brain cancer.

After weeks of radiation, followed by a year of chemotherapy, Nick has defied all odds. Continuing to be a bright light for all that surround him, offering support and guidance to other cancer patients & living life fully everyday.

NICK here  — First things first, I accept what has happened and what can’t be changed. God's plan is for a greater good and I fear nothing with him by my side. Cancer does not define us, it is only along for the ride and shouldn’t deter you from what you want to do for even a minute!

The hidden blessings that are tucked away in a diagnosis like this are meteoric. I am closer with God than I ever could have imagined and the support from the community has brought me to tears more than once. The chance to help others in similar situations - to give them strength, to lift them up and to share what I have felt and seen spiritually is my true purpose. I am with You, Your Families, Your Friends and Your Loved Ones.

With that, I am unable to put into words the unfathomable appreciation that I have for this organization. The efforts that have been put in by my sister to create a ripple in the world of brain cancer research is nothing short of inspiring and motivating. It is felt and it is appreciated more than you know and  I Love You, Christi! ;-)
