Encouraging an active lifestyle by the water is a mission very close to my heart. There’s something truly special about having the freedom to explore, sail, and connect with nature and all it has to offer.

That’s why I’m honored to be running in the Falmouth Road Race this year in support of Pleasant Bay Community Boating, an organization that embodies this mission and works tirelessly to make boating accessible to all.

Pleasant Bay Community Boating is more than just a place to learn to sail—it’s a commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or ability, has the chance to experience the joy of being on the water. They provide opportunities for children from all walks of life, offer specialized programs for women, and create adaptive boating experiences for those with disabilities. Their work fosters an active lifestyle, a deep love for Pleasant Bay, and lifelong memories made on the water.

As a parent, I have personally witnessed the incredible work of Pleasant Bay Community Boating through my daughters' participation in their sailing camp. Watching them grow in confidence and skill on the water has been a testament to the impactful programs and dedicated staff at PBCB.
