My Story…
It has been a long time since I have ran the Falmouth Road Race ...
And I technically stopped running back in 2013 ...
But this year I will be back on the course in August ... and I am counting on each of you to help in my fundraising funds for Boston Cares!
Boston Cares fills over 20,000 volunteer spots annually in support of more than 150 Greater Boston schools and non-profit agencies, and offers a wide array of programs and opportunities that make it simple for you to volunteer no matter how busy your schedule.
Organizations where I have volunteered with Boston Cares include:
* Red Cross Food Pantry (groceries for those in need)
* St. Francis House (meals for the homeless)
* Victory Programs (meals for those recovering from HIV/AIDS)
* Newton Athletes Unlimited (helping handicapped children)
* Birthday Wishes (Birthday gifts for children in the shelter system)
* Prison Book Program (books for those who are incarcerated)
And there are many more opportunities to explore!
Thank you for supporting Boston Cares and volunteerism in the greater Boston Area
